Introduction:
The Resistive Strain Gauge Load Cells of PMT are designed and developed to measure tensile loads in tieback anchors, rock bolts or compressive loads in structures. Electrical resistance strain gages are bonded in full bridge configurations to the periphery of the spool for temperature stability and for compensation of eccentric loading. When load is applied on the cell, the strain gauges output electric signal which is transmitted to the readout unit.
Features:
- - Rugged and robust construction
- - Hostile & severe environmentally friendly
- - Temperature compensated
- - Eight or more strain gages incorporated to reduce positioning effect
- - Any standard strain gage bridge measuring read-out device can be used
